  • Mackenzie Bray, MPH

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    MacKenzie holds a Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and is currently a DrPH student. She has over a decade of experience in HIV prevention, viral hepatitis, and harm reduction. MacKenzie is passionate about harm reduction from both a public health lens and personal experience, having lost her brother to an overdose in 2016.

    She loves overindulging in coffee, reading historical biographies, and exploring Salt Lake with her dog, Kyle.

  • Ellen Seely

    DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAM MANAGER

    Ellen is the Disease Prevention Program Manager at SHRP. She has a dual Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and Education and International Studies and has worked in the public health field for 10 years. Her work has focused mainly in the sexual health field, with teaching and oversight of sexuality education grants, HIV/STI testing and counseling, and disease intervention practice. She has worked with diverse communities, including youth, LGBTQ+, people who are unsheltered, and people who use drugs. She has been interested in Harm Reduction since college and is thrilled to focus on it professionally. Ellen believes that a loving, inclusive, non-judgmental and ethical approach is the best way to empower people to live healthier lives.

    When not at work, Ellen loves to sing & perform, go to concerts, travel, and spend time with her daughter.

  • Ellie Golden

    MOBILE OUTREACH COORDINATOR

    After graduating from the University of Utah, Ellie began her career in social services, gaining experience across a wide range of settings including disability support, dementia care, and outreach with the unsheltered communities of the Salt Lake Valley.

    Her passion for harm reduction grew while working in homeless outreach, where she saw firsthand the impact of meeting people with compassion, dignity, and without judgment.

    At SHRP, Ellie brings this hands-on experience directly to the streets, working to support people where they are and reduce barriers to care.

    Outside of work, Ellie enjoys exploring mountain trails, snowboarding on winter days, and camping with her husband and three French bulldogs.

  • Lux Saint Cloud

    COMMUNITY CARE COORDINATOR

    After gaining experience in community outreach and advocacy, Lux joined SHRP as our Community Care Coordinator.

    Lux’s lived experience guides their work as they lead our rave outreach, & HRT support—making it easier for people to access care, information, and safety wherever they are.

    Lux is known for meeting people where they’re at and building connections that support lasting community health.

    Outside of work, they enjoy training with their dog, dancing at local concerts, creating art, and reading books.

  • Jared Hafen

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Jared has over twenty years of experience working in HIV prevention, treatment, and care. Jared received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Nevada State University.

    From lived experiences, Jared started volunteering which helped influence his passion for working in harm reduction. He has a strong background working in case management, HIV prevention, and helped implement one of the first legal syringe exchange programs in Utah.

    Jared spends his free time enjoying live music, cooking, skiing, and hiking with his corgi, Ari.

  • Becca Green

    STRATIGIC MESSAGING CONSULTANT

    Becca runs Becca Green Media, which specializes in PR, media relations and marketing for nonprofits and mission-driven organizations in Utah and beyond. Becca has worked with Salt Lake Harm Reduction Project since June of 2025 to enhance the organization's storytelling and outreach. 

    Becca graduated from Utah Tech University in 2011 before spending a year in campaign work for a US Senator, then pivoted into journalism for seven years at FOX 13 News in Salt Lake City. After a 3-year stint in D2C marketing, Becca shifted to freelance work before starting BGM in late 2024 with a focus on working with nonprofits and businesses rooted in progressive causes. 

    Outside of work Becca loves board games, and storytelling: particularly science fiction books and movies, and X-Men comic books.
